ANTHONY J. D’ALEXANDER Tony D'Alexander is employed by Kraft Foods Global, Inc. in Northfield, Illinois. He is the Director of State and Local Taxation, responsible for all sales, use, and property tax activity for this multi-national company. He has held this position for the last 16 years. |

Tony has specialized in state and local taxes in both industry and the public accounting environment for the last 33 years. Prior employment included Montgomery Ward, Hartmarx Corp., Coopers & Lybrand, and Arthur Andersen. Tony received his B.S. degree in Accounting from U of I - Chicago and his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School.
Mr. D’Alexander was a former Chairman of the State Tax Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and is an active member of The Institute for Professionals in Taxation, Tax Executive Institute, The Chicago Bar Association and Illinois Bar Association.
Tony resides in Elmhurst, Illinois with his wife of 32 years. His daughter Christine is a graduate of Arizona State University and is the Orchestra Director for a suburban school district. Katie is a recent graduate of University of Missouri with a degree in Communications.
Tony is an avid golfer but recently discovered the great outdoors. He has participated on a National Geographic Expedition to the Grand Canyon and is arranging for a group to hike down the canyon to the Havasupai Indian reservation. A Colorado river rafting trip and hiking trip to Macchu Pichu are in his future plans.
Tony became a board member of IFI in December, 2007.
